Specifically, the program of the course includes the study of:
-the concepts and the specialist lexicon of translation: the general and specialized translation translation; the plurality of the concept of ' equivalence ' (meaning, translation and connotativa); the notion of "contextual selection"; the forms of translation (interlingual, intersemiotic, intralingual); linguistic communication and semiotic noise; the "distances" (diachronic cultural, diatopica);
-Linguistic analysis, stylistic and semantic (and the Italian translation) of Spanish authors and texts aimed at the acquisition and analysis of morphology and syntax concepts previously discussed.
Finally, we will give priority to a drugs approach with the English language, in order to deepen some specific aspects morpho-syntactic, and strengthen the purposes of translation skills.

Final tests are divided into:
Written examination
grammar test according to grammar topics treated during the year; dictation; short translation from Spanish into Italian. This test is a prerequisite to the oral.
Oral examination
The student must be able to understand the texts, authors and formal issues related to linguistic phenomenon. The questions have as objective verify knowledge of the topics covered as well as the ability to apply it. A part of the examination takes place in Spanish in order to verify oral competence corresponding to the level B2+.
For the oral, the failure threshold is determined by lack of knowledge of the contents, a result of incorrect use of specific language from a logical rigour and free and inability to speak in a Spanish equivalent to level C1. The threshold sufficient (18-23/30) is determined by a partial knowledge of the contents and a minimum capacity of application and/or reprocessing of the waste and the demonstration of owning a linguistic level with characteristic features the C1 level. An evaluation between 24-27/30 and 26-27/30 can be reached thanks to a decent/good knowledge of content, demonstrating implementation capacity, position articulated and appropriate use of language. The higher threshold (from 28/30 to 30/30 e lode) is obtained when proves to possess a good knowledge of content, autonomous application, original and creative.
