Learning objectives
The students must acquire knowledge and understanding on how to perform a correct clinical examination: general and particular semeiologic examination. They should be able to understand the acquired data, applying knowledge and understanding, showing professional skills and being able to make judgements. Students must show communication and learning skills.
Prerequisites
Anatomy, physiology, general pathology, surgical pathology and clinical medicine.
Course unit content
The students actively participate in the clinical visits that are daily carried out in the University Veterinary Hospital, both in the medical history collection and in the collection of biological materials used for laboratory investigations, contributing to the clinical diagnosis. They also actively follow the clinical path of hospitalized patients, compiling medical records and administering therapies.

Assessment methods and criteria
Learning verification systems are not provided. The credits are credited on the basis of the certified attendance (75% minimum) and the judgment of the company tutor
