Learning objectives

The goal is to acquire some methodological and lessical tools to deal with theatre studies.
Moreover, it will develop competences for observation and analysis of plays

The course will deal with historY and theory of performing arts from XIX th. to te present.

Teaching methods

Frontla lesson with use of slides and video; seminar moments for collective analysis of plays; exercises in spectatorship

Assessment methods and criteria

The exam is oral, but it implies the deliverance of a written 'tesina' regarding the observation of a play, to be afforded following the guide-lines "Leggere uno spetacolo" tha twill be available on Elly

Other information

This exam is valued 6 CFU, and for the students of "Beni Artistici Librari e dello Spettacolo" is part of a 12 CFU integrated exam called "Storia dle teatro e dello spettacolo" (the first part of which is called "Il teatro nella storia", to be deliverd by prof. Bortoletti, during firs part of second semester). The other students can choice in their PIANO DI STUDI either the esame integrato (12 CFU) or any of its two segments ("Teatro nella storia or "Tearo contemporaneo")
