Learning objectives

Provide the information necessary for the proper clinical approach at patient with suspected neoplastic and indicate, once the diagnostic process, the possible therapeutic approach

To give to a the student the basic knowledges in cytologic diagnosis of the neoplastic diseases of the cat and the dog. Oncological smears interpretation.
Diagnostic imaging: the aim of the course is to give to the student the basic knowledge of diagnostic imaging in medical oncology of the dog and the cat.

clinical and therapeutic approach to the most common neoplastic diseases of pets and horsesCytomorphologic categories of neoplasm, cytologic criteria for malignancy, cytologic interpretation of cutaneous and hemolymphopoietic neoplasms.
Approach to Diagnostic imaging in medical oncology. Diagnosis and Stadiation of the most frequent neoplasm of the skin, soft tissues and blood and lymphatic tumors.
