Learning objectives

The course aims at giving the student the opportunity to know and understand the essential aspects of the differential diagnosis of the main syndromes affecting small animals (dogs and cats), horses and livestock so that the student can practically apply his/her ability acquired by the knowledge and understanding in diagnosing reproductive and obstetrical problems.
The student, at the end of the course, should acquire the ability to know and understand the differential diagnosis in individual clinic of small animals and large animals with particular emphasis on control measures and prevention and health management of diseased animals.

Course unit content

The course aims at presenting and discussing diagnostic aspects of reproductive and obstetric disorders in pets, mainly dog and cat, horses and farm animals. Moreover, practical training is aimed at finalizing the theoretical knowledge into practice.
