Course unit content
The internship in Animal Husbandry and Animal Nutrition is an external practical activity, which takes place in Italian or foreign structures with special agreements, according to the University procedures, chosen by the students based on their interests. These structures are generally represented by the ASL (area C - hygiene of farms and zootechnical production), by zootechnical companies, by feed industries, by wildlife recovery structures (CRAS) or by freelance veterinary doctors with a professional activity mainly oriented to zootechnical problems (welfare, nutrition, reproduction). Regardless of the type of location chosen, the company tutor is always a graduate in Veterinary Medicine. Based on these premises, there is no reference program, as the activities are diversified on the basis of the structures to which the student accesses.
