Learning objectives

During the course the student is expected to acquire the essential elements of surgical pathology required for the subsequent studying of surgery-related subjects.

Course unit content

The educational goal of the course is to identify and examine the most common diseases of surgical interest affecting our animals. Pathologies studied include traumatic diseases, malformations and deformities, heterotopies, ectopies and paratopes, as well as diseases of the skin, bones, tendons, ligaments, muscles, joints and nerves.
