Read and decipher avant-garde Russian poetry texts
Course unit content
Universal flourishing. Utopia in the Russian avant-garde. The course aims to provide a broad overview of the Russian historical avant-garde, placing it in the European context with particular attention to its relationship with Italian Futurism. The poetical and theoretical production of the futuristic and post-futuristic galaxy of the great Russian authors, Velimir Chlebnikov, Vladimir Majakovskij, Aleksej Kručenych up to Daniil Charms, in the pre-and post-revolutionary period will be examined
