Organisation of the circulatory system. Biophysical characteristics of the vessels. Hemodynamics. Structure and properties of the heart muscle. Cardiac electrophysiology. The cardiac cycle. Mechanical heart valves. Work of the heart. External manifestations of heart. Metabolism of the heart. Cardiac innervation. The circulation in the arteries, capillaries and veins. Cardiovascular regulatory mechanisms: local, systemic and nervous. Special circulatory systems.
Physiology of respiration
The pulmonary circulation. Respiratory mechanics. Gas exchange. Gas exchange in the lung. Atmospheric air and expired air. The respiratory function of blood and exchanges with the tissues. Partial voltage of the gas in the air, arterial and mixed venous blood. Transport of oxygen in the blood. And his hemoglobin saturation curve. The transport of carbon dioxide. Chemical and nervous regulation of respiration. The respiratory center. Breathing in different environmental conditions.
