Learning objectives
The course aims to allow students to know and understand the basic tools and methodology to develop and concretely use concepts specific to the discipline of hygiene, occupational medicine and labor law. In particular:
Hygiene: the module aims to provide the student with the basic knowledge to interpret factors that can interact with the state of health of the individual and the community and learn the meaning of prevention strategies.
Occupational Medicine: the module aims to provide the student with knowledge of the regulations on safety and prevention of occupational risks in the healthcare sector as operators, supervisors, managers or employers. Identification of risk conditions for chemical, physical, biological and behavioral agents.
Labor Law and Organization of Rehabilitation Services: the module aims to provide the student with knowledge of collective bargaining, the methods of establishment and the main types of employment relationships with their relative characteristics, useful when entering into the world of work.

Course unit content
The integrated course is divided into 3 modules, mainly oriented towards training relating to prevention, safety and health protection in healthcare workplaces and to the aspects relating to collective bargaining, the methods of establishing and the main types of employment relationships with its characteristics.
The General Hygiene module provides basic content on epidemiology and general and specific prevention of communicable and non-communicable diseases. In particular, being addressed to health professionals, it addresses the issues of prevention measures to be taken in the hospital and healthcare facilities related to biological risk.
The module of Occupational Medicine is a specific study of the aspects related to safety, health and protection in the workplace in light of current legislation. It analyses occupational diseases, their specific prevention and health risks.
The Labor Law and Organization of Rehabilitation Services module includes the analysis of the sources of labor law, collective bargaining and types of employment relationships.

Didactic material provided by teachers will be available to Students on the Elly platform.
Teaching methods
The lessons will take place with frontal mode in presence; the explanations of the teacher will be supported by the projection of slides suitably prepared that will also be provided to students as teaching material for study deposited on the specific platform for access reserved for students (Elly).
Assessment methods and criteria
Hygiene: the assessment of the achievement of the objectives of the course consists of an oral examination. Through questions about the contents of the course will be determined whether the student has achieved the goal of knowledge and understanding of the content and whether it is able to apply the knowledge acquired in the exercise of profession.
Occupational Medicine: Written test with multiple-choice questions
Labor Law and organization of Rehabilitation Services : the summative assessment of learning can take place through a written test with closed answer, written test with an open answer, oral question.
Consultation of legal texts will not be allowed during the test.
The final grade is based on the overall assessment of the teachers of the integrated course.
