Learning objectives
During the course the student is expected to acquire the essential elements of surgical pathology required for the subsequent studying of surgery-related subjects.

Course unit content
The educational goal of the course is to identify and examine the most common diseases of surgical interest affecting domestic animals. Pathologies studied include traumatic diseases, malformations and deformities, heterotopies, ectopies and paratopes, as well as diseases of the bones, tendons, ligaments, muscles, joints.

Oral examination : students will be asked to demonstrate that they have reached a good level of knowledge and understanding regarding the different surgical pathologies. They will be requested to apply their knowledge and understanding.
