D1 - KNOWLEDGE AND CAPACITY OF COMPRESSION
The student, future veterinarian, must:
a) to know the application of cytology for the study of morphological alterations of cells for the diagnosis of pet disease.
b) to know the cytology bases for a differential diagnosis between an inflammatory process and a neoplastic status.
c) to participate with the teacher in interpreting and writing a cytology report.
D2 - CAPACITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND COMPRESSION
During the theoretical and practical training course, the student must demonstrate independently that he has acquired:
the ability to set up and interpret cytological preparations
D3 - AUTONOMY OF JUDICIARY
At the end of the course, the student will be able to:
a) describe and interpret autonomically the elemental cytological features
b) independently formulate a diagnosis

to expound in writing, in a clear, concise and exhaustive manner, using appropriate technical terminology, the observed cytological frameworks

Assessment methods and criteria
Examination of expected learning outcomes for indicators D1 and D2 is carried out by means of a practical test. The assessment is a qualification.
The practical test consists in the observation, description and interpretation of elementary cytologic features. Student with a specific learning disability (DSA), certified under Law No. 170/2010, will be given access to the reference textbook.
