Learning objectives
The Second-Cycle Degree Course in Innovative and Sustainable Animal Production is aimed at Italian and foreign students interested in animal production issues. The specific training objectives meet the need to create professional figures in the agro-zootechnical field with advanced technical and scientific skills in all stages of the food chain of animal origin: feed production, livestock breeding, processing, inspection and certification of processed products. The training is aimed at acquiring in-depth knowledge in the technical management of livestock farms - with respect to animal welfare and biodiversity - and of processing and certification processes. The cultural approach is one of innovation and multidisciplinarity aimed at improving sustainability in its broadest sense (economic, social and environmental).
