Muscles; tendons; muscle contraction mechanics; Strenght of the muscles; upper limb, lower limb and trunk muscle examination
Full programme
Definition and scope of matter: background; study models.
Muscles: physical properties of muscle; muscle contraction mechanics; muscle efficiency curves.
Tendons: physical tendon properties; mechanics and function of teh tendons.
Joint complexes.
Physical properties of levers: simple lever functions and comments.
Basic principles of muscle examination: monoarticular muscles; The biarticular and multiarticular muscles.
Measure the strenght of the muscles: measure the passive tension; measure the lenght of the muscles: measuring trophism; observations and exercises; the assessment scals; observation.
muscular upper limb examination: shoulder girdle muscles; arm muscles; muscles of the forearm and hand; obeservations and exercises.
Muscle examination of the lower limb: muscles of the basin; thigh muscles; muscles of the leg and foot; observations and exercises.
The muscular examination of the trunk: muscles of the trunk; neck muscles; breathing muscles; the Balance; observations and exercises.
