Learning objectives

Analytical and logical argumentative comptence relating to the various models of knowledge and to the aestetic mediums and languages. Ability in analysis and discussion of the theories and models of contemporary aesthetics.

Prerequisites

The student must possess knowledges concerning the history of modern philosophy

Course unit content

Aesthetics (6 CFU)

The course explores the theme of Laughter as an anthropological phenomenon studied from the point of view of aesthetic categories such as comedy, humor, wit, irony. The course will analyze the nature, value and effect as of the laughter starting from the philosophical thought of authors such as Shaftesbury, Hutcheson, Bergson, Freud.
