Studying abroad

The University of Parma offers all its students various opportunities to foster the development of a real international dimension of university study. From exchanges in Europe through the Erasmus Plus Programme to extra-European mobility with the Overworld Programme and numerous pathways for acquiring a double degree.
Some Degree Courses, in fact, thanks to the conclusion of international agreements with partner universities, provide the opportunity, at the end of the university course, to obtain a double degree with one or more associated foreign universities.

Study abroad programmes

Students enrolled in the degree programme may choose to study one or two semesters at a university abroad; examinations given abroad will be validated for the course of study.
Our course has agreements under the ERASMUS+ programme with universities in Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, Poland and Spain and under the OVERWORLD programme with universities outside the EU, e.g. in Brazil and the USA.
In addition, there is the possibility of an internship of between two and four months in an EU or EEA country as part of the ERASMUS+ PLACEMENT programme.
Scholarship calls typically close in February, March or April (for the following academic year); in January and February, interested students can take an exam certifying language proficiency.
For further information, please contact the Erasmus contact persons of the degree course: Wolfgang Huemer and Italo Testa.
Information on calls, deadlines, forms, etc. can also be found on the university's Erasmus and Overworld websites:
