Learning objectives

Develop the ability to assess through the manual and the observation

Course unit content

 Observation: the characteristics of healthy free movement, posture, alignment, symmetry/asymmetry of the trunk and limbs, analysis of the distribution of body weight in posture during rest and in certain functional activities, compensation. Demonstration and hands-on lab among students.

 Palpation of soft tissue, bone contours, knowledge of the main landmarks bony socket of anthropometric measurements. Demonstration and hands-on lab among students.

 Techniques socket. Demonstration and hands-on lab among students.

 Active joint excursion. Demonstration and hands-on lab among students.

 Passive joint excursion. Demonstration and hands-on lab among students.

 Measuring and Recording of range of active and passive. Demonstration and hands-on lab among students.

 Semiotics: component motor and sensory component. Demonstration and hands-on lab among students
