Learning objectives

Know the main diseases of musculoskeletal system and central nervous system; acquire the ability to perform a physical and functional examination in the orthopedic/neurologic patient adult and developmental age

Prerequisites

Anatomy of musculoskeletal system; anatomy of central nervous system; biomechanics

Course unit content

Orthopedics and neurology in rehabilitation; rehabilitation processes based on current scientific evidence and clinical experience; major diseases of the musculoskeletal system; major diseases of the central nervous system

Full programme

Evaluation of different ortophedic clinical cases through the musculoskeletal examination; evaluation of different neurological clinical cases; administration of rating scales; recognize the main diseases in childhood and adolescence; congenital deformities
