Learning objectives

Ability to analyze postural attitudes; ability to perform a proper palpatory examination and to locate bone and tendon repere points and locate major muscle groups; ability to observe and evaluate the articulation of active and passive movement; learn to measure with goniometer.
Ability to make a transfer.

Physical examination:
general patient observation and assessment:
posture and alignment.
Inspection, palpation, active and passive articulation, goniometer measurements.

Definition and purpose of the objective examination and kinesiological evaluation.
Objective assessment and functional evaluation.
Objective examination phases: observation, inspection, palpation, assessment of active and passive articulation, function evaluation,trunk, upper and lower limbs goniometer and tape measurements; joint limitation, muscle shortening, pain and functional compensation; tranfers, practical labs.
