Student tutors

The University offers its students a tutoring service, aimed at guiding and assisting students throughout their studies.
Tutoring is carried out by all course teaching staff and students identified through an annual call for applications (link).

Student tutors

Tutors assist students in their academic life and can be contacted via e-mail or met in person (box on the first floor, on the left, central building of the Department).

IBD student tutors are:

The student tutor is an experienced student or PhD or postgraduate student who puts his or her practical experience at the service of those in need.
In particular, they are responsible for:

- assisting with the compilation of programmes of study,
- advising on the course catalogue (curriculum, prerequisites, examinations),
- helping with the organisation of study and examinations, and supplementary didactic activities,
- helping to find information on international mobility and curricular internships,
- relations with the administrative services.

International tutors

Who are  international tutors?
They are students enrolled in the Second-cycle Degree Courses of the Department of Economics and Business Sciences, selected (following an official call for applications) and appointed by an ad hoc committee on the basis of the evaluation of their qualifications and requirements at the time of their application.
What do international tutors do?
International tutors are a new figure of tutors whose aim is to assist all first-cycle, second-cycle and PhD students in international mobility, both incoming and outgoing. In particular, it is their task:
- To provide all the necessary information to students and PhD students interested in participating in any of the Department of Economics and Business Sciences' international mobility projects, both in the Erasmus + framework and in the Overworld or Double Degree projects;
- To assist the outgoing student in all the phases of the international mobility process, from the initial one with the compilation of all the documents necessary for departure to the final one, expected upon return;
- To assist the incoming student, guaranteeing an adequate information service about the opportunities available to him/her within our University;
- To mediate with the Offices and the Department about the compilation and delivery of the required documents;
- To encourage the full integration of the foreign student within our academic network to collect data and information on the international mobility projects which have involved students from the Department of Economics and Business Sciences in recent years.
More information can be found on the tutor page on the Department's website.
