The University of Parma promotes curricular internships in order to facilitate professional choices through direct knowledge of the world of work and the realisation of moments of alternation between study and work. The curricular internship integrates and completes the student's training pathway through the performance of practical activities.

The internship involves three parties: the student, the promoter (the University of Parma) and the host (company or organisation) where the activity is carried out under the guidance of a student tutor, a university tutor and a company supervisor.

Curricular internships are not a prerequisite for an employment relationship between the intern and the host structure, nor can they be a substitute for company labour or professional services.

The QuAM Internship

The strength of the vocationally-oriented degree course and its distinctiveness lies in the intensive laboratory work (48 ECTS credits) and the internship at private companies (50 ECTS credits).

Thanks to the company placements, the student will be able to apply the theoretical knowledge acquired in the first part of the course directly in the working world with high-profile professional skills. Priority is given to training aspects that are more directly spendable in the world of work while building a solid scientific mindset.
