-knowledge of the philosophical and scientific thought from ancient times to today

- Reading and understanding of the philosophical texts

-knowledge of the terminology and the different philosophical methods needed for problem analysis and interpretation of texts.

Course unit content

Course Title: Reading and commentary of the "De magistro" and "De doctrina christiana" of Augustine of Hippo.

The treatment of the theme of the fundamentals of communication and intersubjectivity, that Augustine, in his first time, he saw in a polivocal and original enough to the point of have Wittgenstein's attention, will guide our reading of the texts .
This reading presupposes, of course, a knowledge of all the thought of the ancient world, that the student must already possess.
