Calendar of graduation sessions and deadlines

Below is all the information related to submitting an application for graduation.
Administrative procedures are handled by the Student registry office, which can be contacted for further information.

Graduation Sessions and File Deadlines

Deadlines and paperwork for the final examination can be found on the Department's Graduation Sessions page.
There are normally four graduation sessions per academic year:

  • summer session (discussion period: July);
  • early autumn session (discussion period: October);
  • autumn session (discussion period: December);
  • extraordinary session (discussion period: March).

Students are urged to take into account the timetable of graduation sessions and to agree on the thesis with the supervisor well in advance.

Application for graduation and forms

Submission of the application for graduation and thesis delivery is exclusively online.
Please read the instructions below carefully:

  • Instructions (MOD. A15/3/IND-UM) for humanities courses;
  • Authorisation (MOD. A50) of the supervisor (in duplicate), completed in every part and legibly, especially as regards the name of the supervisor and the co-supervisor, if any (form that can be filled in with Acrobat Reader, downloaded and using the "Fill in and sign" function);
  • Application for graduation;
  • Alma Laurea;
  • Rules of conduct to be followed by candidates and their families, during graduation sessions (MOD. A/44).
