Learning objectives

The course is designed to give students the fundamental tools required for the knowledge of European and comparative criminal law.

Prerequisites

<p>In order to sit for the exam of European and comparative criminal law the student should have passed the exams of Istituzioni di diritto private, Istituzioni di diritto romano and Diritto penale 1.</p>
<p> </p>

Course unit content

<p> The course programme focuses: 1) for what concerns the general part, on the principle of legality (nulla poena sine lege), both on a European (with reference to the European Court of Human Rights) and comparative perspective; 2) for what concerns the special part, on the issue of stalking. The course will analyse also some leading cases with comments. </p>
<p>The language of the course is English. <br />
