Learning objectives
The aim of the course is to provide a basic overview of the legal regulation of energy, with the necessary references to the main technical-economic concepts that come to the fore.

Course unit content
The course will cover the following topics: the fundamentals of the discipline: framing the notion of energy and its sources; public service, the environment and sustainable development; the levels of regulation and governance of the energy sector; the energy industrial chain and its discipline; regulation of energy markets; energy transition: the promotion of renewable energy sources and energy efficiency.

Teaching methods
Lessons will be conducted in presence with maximum student involvement. Specific topics will be discussed in depth during the course with the contribution of experts from the energy sector.
Assessment methods and criteria
The final examination will consist of an oral test, which will tend to consist of a few questions aimed at understanding whether the student has acquired sufficient knowledge of the fundamental aspects of each part.
