Integrated course unit module: CLIMATE CHANGE AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT LAW

Learning objectives

This module, articuled in two classes lasting three hours each, is devoted to explaining EU legislative and non-legislative actions to cope with climate change and to foster food sustainability. For further details, please Prof. Elena Carpanelli's syllabus.

Please see Prof. Elena Carpanelli's syllabus. It is highly recommended to have already passed the exam of European Union Law.

Course unit content

Contents of this teaching delve into: a) the European Green Deal as a non-binding act yet being able to steer EU's legislative actions; b) the regulation establishing the framework for achieving climate neutrality; c) the Farm-to-Fork Strategy, with a particularly emphasis on food sustainability.

Teaching methods
