Knowledge of the physiology of the female genital system in the various stages of life. Ability to provide basic information to patients with changes in the menstrual cycle and in menopause

Physiological changes in woman from puberty to menopause
Menopause

Full programme

Ovarian and menstrual cycle and interpretation of the main hormonal values.
Fertilization and placentation.
Changes in the menstrual cycle due to malformation, hypothalamic, pituitary, ovarian, uterine, genetic and extra-genital causes.
Physiological changes in women from puberty to menopause.
Menopause: hormonal picture, symptoms and therapy. Premature ovaria failure

Teaching methods

Lectures will be held on-site in compliance with safety standards, provided that further instructions on the ongoing health emergency are not implemented. Knowledge and skills will be evaluated by means of oral exam.
