Registration procedures

Entry requirements

Admission to the Course is open to candidates holding a secondary school diploma or an equivalent foreign qualification, pursuant to Ministerial Decree DM 270/04, art 6, paragraph 1. The Ministry of Universities and Research (MUR) annually publishes the methods and contents of the admission tests for degree courses with nationwide scheduled access, which are referred to in the admission notice published on the university's institutional website.
Candidates must also be adequately prepared and qualified for the entrance examination.
The number of places available is programmed at national level, pursuant to Art. 1 of Law 264/1999; the national planning provisions issued annually by the MUR apply to this.

Admission procedures

The number of students admitted to the Degree Course in Midwifery is limited and determined nationally by the Ministry of University and Research (Mur).
Access to the Course is therefore regulated by an admission test that has a selective function and is aimed at verifying the possession of an adequate initial preparation. Modalities and contents of the admission test are determined by a specific Ministerial Decree, on the basis of which the University of Parma issues the annual admission call. This document also defines the procedures for ascertaining the identity of candidates and their obligations during the course of the test.
