Integrated course unit module: Business organization and health partner

Learning objectives

The aim is to allow the student to know and understand the legal and legal aspects inherent to the professional activity of a midwife, in order to allow knowledge and understanding of their professional activity from a legal perspective with specific reference to criminal and civil aspects.

Course unit content

The lessons provide the basic notions regarding the medical-legal aspects of the profession of midwife. After the basic notions of criminal law, crimes related to health activities will be treated, discussing not only the general principles but also doctrine and jurisprudence. the issues closely related to the exercise of the profession will then be analyzed.

Full programme

Notions of law. Legal. Sources of law. Criminal law, general and special part: crimes against life and personal safety. Civil liability and personal injury. Mandatory reporting. Report and report to the Judicial Authority. Professional secrecy, abusive exercise of the profession. Informed consent.

Teaching methods

The teaching is carried out with frontal teaching.

Assessment methods and criteria

Verification of learning involves an oral exam and will cover the topics covered in class. The final grade will be formulated on the basis of the overall judgment of the teachers of the integrated course to which the course in question belongs.
