Learning objectives
The objective of the integrated course is to provide an adequate pathophysiological and clinical knowledge for correct patient management in the different clinical contexts. This knowledge is specifically aimed at training the future midwife as regards of the assistance in internal medicine, of the obstetric emergency management, of the delivery room, of the main infective illness and of pharmacotherapy, as described in details in the individual course modules.

Teaching methods
The course will be held through lectures. In case the COVID-related emergence continues, frontal lessons will proceed remotely through the Teams platform (for instructions, see http://selma.unipr.it). Lessons will be carried out with the aid of iconographic material collected in PowerPoint files that, at the end of the course, will be made available to students on the Elly site at the course pages.
Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam, or written test, according to the holder of the individual teachings of the integrated course.
Written examination, multiple choice test.
Written exams will be a test conducted remotely (by Teams and Elly). The test consists of multiple choice questions on the course contents (reference texts + documents uploaded to Elly during the course). There is no penalty for incorrect answers. The final mark, reported directly on Esse3, will correspond to the arithmetic average of the assessments obtained in the single exams.
