Learning objectives

The aim is to allow the student to know and understand the legal and legal aspects inherent to the professional activity of a midwife, in order to allow knowledge and understanding of their professional activity from a legal perspective with specific reference to criminal and civil aspects. .

The lessons provide the basic notions regarding the medical-legal aspects of the profession of midwife. After the basic notions of criminal law, crimes related to health activities will be treated, discussing not only the general principles but also doctrine and jurisprudence. the issues closely related to the exercise of the profession will then be analyzed.

Notions of law. Legal system. Sources of law. Criminal law general and special part: crimes against life and individual safety. Civil liability and personal injury. Compulsory reporting.
