Learning objectives
At the end of the training activity, the student should have acquired specific personal and professional skills. In particular, it is expected that the student will be able to have a direct knowledge of one of the areas of work that the study can give access, as well as useful information and concrete skills to facilitate a conscious choice in relation to their future professional.
Prerequisites
Students, who intend to undergo a curriculum training, starting from the third year of enrollment, are required to complete, in the compilation of their Study Plan, for a Final Examination consisting in the preparation of a Graduate thesis, or compilation or research, of 15 CFUs and in the pursuit of a 6 CFU curriculum training. The activation of the internship is done on-line on the ESSETRE platform. Students may take advantage of training placements for which the University of Parma has already concluded specific conventions (a.), Or they may propose the placement outside the conventions previously stipulated by the University (b.). In the first case (a.), The student must access the ESSETRE platform, take a look at the internships offered on the on-line training web page, accept the placement he considers most of his interest. In the second case (b.), The host object, identified by the Student, will have to accredit on the ESSETRE platform, request the activation of a Convention with the University, propose the internship "to a student known", designating a Tutor of the Subject Host that will follow the student during the internship. The interested student can then proceed to the acceptance of this internship. In both cases, the Student finds the Professor of Law Degree Course that will assume the functions of the University Tutor. The Tutor takes an on-line view of the internship, verifies that the activity described is congruent with the Law Degree Course and approves it through online validation. The Administrations are responsible for activating the internship with online validation.

Assessment methods and criteria
At the end of the internship, the concerned student sends to the University Tutor the final report on the activity, together with the attendance sheet, which certifies the internships actually completed and the final report drawn up by the Tutor of the host. In the light of the documentation provided, the University Tutor evaluates the activity carried out and, in the case of a positive opinion, gives nothing to the acknowledgment to the student of 6 CFUs to be registered in the Final Exam. The final documentation is transmitted to the teaching secretariat by the student concerned. The Council of the Law Course at the first useful session approves and communicates the successful outcome of the internship to the Student Secretariat, which provides for the registration of 6 CFUs on the final test. That is, unless the placement has been completed entirely by means of computerized IT platform ESSETRE by acknowledging the activity of the University Tutor, and automatic transmission of recognition to the Registrar Secretariat for registration. Internships can not be recognized if the student does not have the full documentation of their activity, within six months of the internship.
