Integrated course unit module: HUMAN OBSTETRIC AND PSYCHOPEDAGOGIC SCIENCES

Learning objectives

At the end of the course, it is expected that the student will:
- know the contribution of Clinical Psychology in the reading of significant events in the life cycle of women
- be able to apply the acquired knowledge and combining the health and the relational dimensions in the interaction with patients, their families and healthcare staff
- have acquired autonomy of judgment about the issues topics covered
- have acquired the ability to communicate clearly and precisely: knowing how to use a rich and specific language that aims to express comprehensible messages. The student must therefore have matured and exercised the awareness that communication uses verbal and non-verbal channels and includes the ability to listen to the other
- have implemented the ability to learn also through participation in active and collaborative learning

Teaching methods

Teaching activities focuses active learning methods such as lectures, group work, simulations and role-playing based on explanatory videos.

Assessment methods and criteria

Assessment is a 30 questions multiple-choice written test. Each question weight 1 point. The final assessment is the sum of the points. The honors will be awarded if it is reached the maximum score and the mastery of the disciplinary lexicon is added. The results of the test will be announced during the return.
