Learning objectives
At the end of the course the student must:
have learned, understood and be able to apply the procedures for risk reduction in the care setting;
be able to evaluate, follow and assist a labor / delivery at low obstetric risk in compliance with the WHO directives even in situations of hardship and linguistic and cultural barrier and to evaluate in collaboration with the doctor the obstetric risk at the beginning of labor.
be able to understand and apply the essential elements of assistance and management in the obstetric emergency;
have learned, understood and be able to apply the basic concepts of the research methodology.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of the basic elements of scientific research; Knowledge of the basic elements of physiological delivery assistance and in the presence of pathology
Course unit content
The integrated course consists of several modules, to which reference is made for details. Overall, the contents concern obstetric care in the field of physio-pathology and in emergency situations, prevention of clinical risk and the methodology of research in obstetric care

Oral exam with evaluation in thirtieths. Collateral evaluation considered the weighted average based on the CFU
