Learning the principles of fertilization and implantation, the functions of the placenta in order to understand the basis of pregnancy’s physiology and pathology.
Learning the most common causes of anatomic disorders in clinical practice.
Learning how to make an early diagnosis of the main tumors affecting the female genital tract and how to prevent them.
Prerequisites
Human anatomy, especially that of the female genital tract.
Notions of menstrual cycle.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral test: in order to check the skills acquired, the student should answer different questions about the topics of the lessons. In case of a positive result, it will be part of the final grade of the course (evaluated in thirtieth).
