This course is aimed at providing the student with the basic knowledge and comprehension of the covered topics in order to have th knowledge to recognize internal medicine problems and forward them to the specialists

pathophysiological knowledge regarding internal medicine diseases, highly prevalent within he general population ( CV diseases, Osteoporosis and Vitamin D deficiency, Renal failure, lung disease, coagulation diseases

Assessment methods and criteria

The student’s knowledge regarding topics’ comprehension will be evaluated by questions on the topics related to the course content together with the possibility of physio-pathological connection able to demonstrate also intuition. Failed answer to one or more questions or proved insufficiency of the basic knowledge on the subject will preclude the successful completion of the exam. In case of completion of the exam, an evaluation that contributes to the final grade of the course will be defined and it will be based on the sufficient).
