Learning objectives

The course is aimed at teaching knowledge and understanding of the
basics of the legal framework enforcing protection of food products
The student will also learn to apply the acquired knowledge and
understanding in assessing and developing strategies for agro-food
products’ communication.

Market and sustainability of typical products - Protection of geographical
indications in Europe and in Italy – Distribution and economic significance
of PDO and PGI in Italy- Product specifications’ layout.
