Learning objectives

The course deals with the legal aspects of family relations. Great
emphasis will be placed in considering the most recent jurisprudential
developments.

In matters of filiation, the student is required to know the following provisions, as amended, or by the L. 219/2012 or D.Lgsl. 154/2013: - Articles . 74 , 87, 128 , 147, 148 , 155 , 165, 231 to 342 b ( unless indicated repeals ) , 448 bis, 537 cod. Civil Code . ;
- Law 40 /2004 ( medically assisted procreation - attached under the heading " Students - Learning materials ");
- Law 184/1983 (adoption of the child - as an appendix to the Civil Code) .

A new edition was published of the volume of Professor G. BONILINI, Manuale di diritto di famiglia, UTET, Torino, 2014, VI ed., which includes , in particular , comments on the recent changes in the field of filiation . It is recommended , therefore , the purchase order is made ​​easier by the study , especially the new legislation. Alternatively, for those who have completed the frequencies in the past and have already purchased the previous edition of the manual, continues to assert the possibility of studying directly the regulations reformed , replacing the Cap . IX ("La filiazione" ) G. Bonilini , Manuale di diritto di famiglia, UTET, Torino,2010, fifth edition.

Under " Students - Teaching Material " , are published : the legislative material intended for all students ; the court decisions reserved for students actually attending classes in the a. a. 2012/13 ; the court decisions reserved for students who have completed the frequencies of the Course of Family Law (regardless of the actual presence in the classroom) starting from school a. a. 2013/14 (and later). This, as the course now includes, in addition to 30 hours of lectures , 10 hours devoted to exercises .
Students of A . A. 2012/13 not attending (and Students in previous years, attending or not attending) are exempt, except free personal choice of further study, which will be reported to the examiner.

Teaching methods

Oral lesson (30 hours) and exercitations with the most recent jurisprudential
developments (10 hours).

Assessment methods and criteria

Oral exam in respect of the whole programme and of the exercitations
with the most recent jurisprudential developments (you must see under the heading "Reference books"), wich will edit on the
web.Three questions at least will be put.

Other information

For the Students of Servizio Sociale and Scienze dell'Educazione: in the a. a. 2014/15, will be organized a seminar in order to provide some basic concepts of Private law, which enable it to better deal with the study of Family law. Therefore, it is strongly recommended the participation of these students in that seminar. Of the place and the day chosen, you will be given prompt notice through the website of the Department of Law, at the beginning of the second semester.
