Learning objectives

Acquiring good knowledge of the essentials of arbitration law

Prerequisites

Students will be admitted to the exam only if they have previously passed Institutions of Private Law, Institutions of Roman Law, Civil Procedure exams

Course unit content

The course covers the following topics: arbitrability of the dispute; arbitration agreement; parties of the arbitral procedure; arbitral tribunal; arbitral chambers; arbitral procedure; provisional measures; the award; enforcement and challenge procedures; international conventions (New York 1958; Geneve 1961)
