The course aims to make the student able to acquire and understand the physiology of early pregnancy

Course unit content
In the first part of the course explains the bases of physiology and embryology of the placenta , of amniotic fluid and of fetal adnexa .
The second part covers the aspects related to fecundation, menstruation, contraception (mechanisms).
In the third part of the course discusses the various aspects of pregnancy:
- normal pregnancy, twin physiological pregnancy and signs of disease; - extra-uterine pregnancy; - vesicular mole; miscarriage (notes); obstetric sonogram (notes)
