The single-cycle degree course in Law is open access

Access requirements

In order to be admitted to the Degree in Law, the student must have obtained a secondary school diploma or another qualification obtained abroad and recognised as suitable.
The student's initial preparation is assessed by taking into account the profit achieved in the upper secondary school course of study. Anyone who has obtained an upper secondary school diploma with a score of at least 70/100 (or 42/60) is considered suitable, and thus sufficiently prepared to attend the degree course with profit.
For all students, the degree course offers and recommends a preparatory integrative course, for the approach to the study of legal subjects and the acquisition of transversal skills.
Of the organisation of the propaedeutic course for the a.y. 2024/2025 will be announced in good time in the notices and on this page.

Enrolment period:

  • Enrolment: from 12 noon on 17 July 2024 to 12 noon on 20 September 2024;
  • Students enrolled years after the first: from 5 September - 18 November 2024
  • Incoming transfers: until 18 October 2024
  • Outgoing transfers: until 31 December 2024

Assessment test for students with a grade below 70/100 (or 42/60)

New students who have obtained an upper secondary school diploma with a mark of less than 70/100 (or 42/60) are subject to a preliminary examination of their preparation, subject to the exceptions provided for. In the event of failure to pass the prescribed tests or failure to fulfil the additional educational obligations (OFA) within the first year of the course, the student may not take any examinations.
The assessment test has a non-selective character, but is compulsory. There is no ranking; the test can be either 'passed' or 'failed'.

Recognition of previous studies

Students with previous careers and university studies already completed in Italy and abroad who enrol in the Degree Course in Law may apply for recognition of these activities.
