Learning objectives
Acquisition of knowledge and understanding of the main neurological
diseases, therapeutic strategies and tools, and specific aspects of
physiotherapy
in the various conditions. The course has also the objective to provide the
students with basic judging on patient condition, with tools for a correct
communication on neurological issues, and with the basis for further
studies.

Course unit content
Overview of the main neurological diseases that require physiotherapy
treatment, with particular regard to the clinical manifestations and
principles of therapy. Outlines of epidemiology and etiopathogenesis will
be provided.
