Learning objectives

The main objectve of the histology module is the knowledge of the biology of the call, the tissues cellular organistion and a brief description of the early stages of embryonic development.

Course unit content

The main objective of the histology module is to give students the basic knowledge of the biology of the cell and its components (plasmalemma, cytoplsm, Golgi apparatus, endoplasmic reticulum, mitochondria, the nucleus), on the cell cycle, the processes of cell differentiation and tissue formation. Spermatogenesis, oogenesis, fertilisation and early development.
