Course Council

The tasks of the Course Council are governed by the University Regulations.
The Council consists of the course professors/instructors and researchers and some student representatives.
Student representatives: Michele Maci and Patrizio Podestà.

 

Quality Assurance Manager

Prof. Pierfrancesco Fiorato

The Quality Assurance Manager cooperates with the of the Course President and the Department Director in planning improvement actions and monitors their implementation; monitors the proper performance of teaching activities and support services; informs the Course President of any problem concerning the proper performance of teaching activities, also on the basis of students' reports.

The Manager ensures the organisation and functionality of the didactics of the Degree Course.

Review Group

The Review Group has the task of guiding the course towards the objective of continuous improvement of results. It manages the self-assessment process by periodically monitoring the course data, detecting strengths and weaknesses and proposing corrective and improvement actions.

The guidance and tutoring activities support students in their choice of university pathway and throughout their studies.

International Student Mobility Commission

The Commitee manages student (incoming and outgoing) mobility in relation to all international exchange programmes (Erasmus Plus, Overworld etc.).

Delegate for career advising/guidance

The Delegate organises and promotes initiatives aimed at facilitating the entry of graduating and graduate students into the world of work.

Contact person for students with disabilities, Specific Learning Difficulties (SLD) or vulnerable groups

Prof. Irene Binini

The course contact person for vulnerable groups works in close cooperation with CAI (University Welcome and Inclusion Centre) on the reception, care, social integration and rights of people with disabilities, Specific Learning Difficulties and Special Educational Needs.

 

Steering commitee

The unified Steering Committee of the degree course in Philosophical Studies and the degree course in Philosophy, composed of the course presidents and representatives from the world of work, ensures constant contact with the world of business and work, in order to assess the performance of the degree courses, to draw up proposals for the definition and design of the courses on offer and their learning objectives, and to promote contacts for any internships for students in companies and institutions.

 

Joint Committee of Teachers and Students - CPDS

Each department establishes a Joint Committee of Teachers and Students (CPDS) consisting of one lecturer and one student from each course of study pertaining to the department.

The CPDS is a permanent observatory on teaching activities.
