Learning objectives

We want that the students understand scientific methods used in statistics and we want to fit up the student for his future studies implying statistics

Course unit content

 Recovery elementary math: numerical sets, percentages, powers,proportions,equivalences. Binomial coefficients, binomial theorem. <br />

Statistic's methods and aim, descriptive statistics: classification, frequency distribution,graphicalmrepresentations,means, mode, median, quantiles, range,simple absolute deviation, standard deviation, variance. probability: outline of several theories, discrete and continuous random variables, probability 's funcfions expected value, standard deviation, binomial and normal distribution. <br />
