Learning objectives
Acquisition of knowledge in the field of European and international economic evolution in the modern and contemporary age.
Course unit content
The course is organised in two modules: <br />
1. The first is aimed at highlighting and analysing some of the basic subjects concerning the evolution of economic systems and institutions, including their diachronic aspects, to offer an effective introduction to the subjects and problems dealt with in the other subjects studied. <br />
2. The second outlines the economic evolution from England’s industrial revolution to the present day, emphasising the economic, social and cultural transformations resulting from industrialisation and economic development. The second part of the course will be dedicated to the growing international economic integration, technological innovations and changes to contemporary economic sectors, while the last part will entail an in-depth study of the Italian economy, mainly revolving around the Fascist period for this academic year. <br />
Although the lessons are organised in two modules, assessment will be performed with one single exam. <br />
