The course prepares the student to acquire an upper-intermediate level of competences to be used in the world of work.

The course will lead the student to understand and analyze a complex business text taken from financial newspapers. Moreover, he/she should communicate in English effectively in every day business situations and with a degree of fluency and spontaneity; he/she should also be able to explain his/her viewpoint on articles taken from The Financial Times.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written and oral assessment.
The written assessment will consists of exercises of filling in the gap (grammar and/or Business English vocabulary).
The oral assessment will be a discussion about some business/political articles taken from The Financial Times.
