- know the concepts that underlie nursing discipline and the basics necessary for the drafting of a welfare plan.
- know the fundamental concepts relating to cultural differences
- recognise the value of a multicultural vision of society and nursing

Course unit content
Nursing methodologies: critical thinking, diagnostic taxonomy, nursing process. Available nursing tools that contribute to realize the nursing process, the history and development of nursing and relevant care plans. Methods of multicultural approach towards patients.
