Learning objectives
The course aims to enable the student to learn and understand through lectures and interactive practices, the principles of visual function and its most frequent impairements to guarantee safe and fulfilling sports activities. It also provides the basic elements for the interpretation of these information in order to gain the ability to use the knowledge and understanding on their own.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
The student at the end of the course, using the knowledge of anatomy and physiopathology previously acquired, must demonstrate knowledge and understanding the new information.
The student also applying the knowledge and understanding acquired, shall be able, even collaborating with other professionals, to be able to exploit the new expertise their own.

Teaching methods
The course will be conducted through face-to-face lectures both in-person (classroom) and, depending on the pandemic trend, in telepresence (synchronous-streaming) through the support of the Teams platform. This will preserve the possibility of real-time interaction with the Lecturer both in presence and at a distance. Lectures may be conducted with the help of iconographic material collected in presentations that will be made available to students on the Elly platform (https://elly.medicina.unipr.it).
