Learning objectives
The course aims at providing students with grammar and vocabulary knowledge at B2 level, as well as developing written and oral language skills (more specifically within the field of social psychology).
Prerequisites
The course is aimed at students who already have a good knowledge of English (level B1).
Course unit content
The aim of the course is to help students pass the English language test based on reading, listening and Use of English at B2 level of the CEFR. The course is aimed at students who have acquired English language skills at B1.

Teaching methods
The course can be accessed with the University account (name.surname@studenti.unipr.it) on elly.cla.unipr.it (LAUREE MAGISTRALI e SCUOLE SPEC. > INGLESE B2 > DUSIC (PSICOLOGIA) > PREPARAZIONE ALLA PROVA DI IDONEITA' INGLESE LM – PICS).
It consists in online modules focusing on the topics related to the exam syllabus. The course includes readings, listenings and exercises with automatic correction.
Methodology: presentation of structures, deduction of rule, contrastive use of the language.
Assessment methods and criteria
Computer-based multiple-choice test on grammar, lexicon, and receptive skills (reading and listening) at B2 level. The pass mark is 60%, obtained by adding the number of correct answers. Dictionaries, grammar reference books, electronic devices etc. are not allowed.
